Cixian is not only the field cultural relic big county, but also the collection cultural relic big county. The new cixian county party committee, the county government to seize the opportunity, actively planning, the implementation of the "cultural guidance, brand cixian" strategy, decided to build cizhou kiln museum. In August 2004, the construction project was officially approved, and 108 mu of land in the north of the middle end of cizhou road in the golden belt of the county was selected as the land for cizhou kiln museum and museum square. Meanwhile, hebei architectural design institute was invited to preside over the design of the museum. On March 18, 2005, handan second construction co., LTD broke ground on the museum civil engineering. In October 2006, the main project was completed. Cizhou kiln museum and square has a total investment of 50 million yuan and a building area of 5,000 square meters. It has two floors, including four main exhibition halls, an orderly hall and a transition hall. The exhibition hall covers an area of 2,524 square meters. In terms of architectural design concept, it takes its typical mantou kiln as the main shape of the building, and the wall wall is decorated with saggers of cizhou kiln as symbols, forming an architectural artwork combining traditional form and modern concept. The basic exhibition of cizhou kiln museum is titled "the art of black and white", the content is divided into: preface hall, the first part -- the initial combustion of kiln fire, the second part -- the transformation of black and white, the third part -- lingering charm and the fourth part -- the origin of beautiful articles. More than 400 pieces of high-quality cultural relics are exhibited, including 278 pictures and 186 other auxiliary exhibits. The display is divided into three lines, and the main line is in chronological order to systematically display the cultural relics and specimens from each era of cizhou kiln. Fine cultural relics exhibition line set special cabinet to highlight the fine cultural relics of cizhou kiln; Auxiliary exhibition line introduces relevant knowledge of cizhou kiln and excavates its cultural connotation. On December 13, 2006, cizhou kiln museum was completed and opened to the public.

 

Cizhou kiln museum is one of the largest thematic museums at the county level in China.
